News Release: Road and Bridge Superintendent Placed on Paid Admin Leave

Ouray County, Colo - Ouray County has placed Road and Bridge Superintendent Ty Barger on paid administrative leave while an ongoing investigation is conducted into a pending report of a DUI arrest, publicly reported in Docket 2026T5031. In the interim, Crew Chief Don Castle has been designated by the County Manager as the interim Superintendent. The County will update the community after finalizing our investigation but may decline to comment further on pending personnel matters.
